Convictions.

Last Thursday, in small group, we learned more about communion but what stuck most with all of us is how we should be right with ourselves, others and God before taking up the bread and wine (in our case, grape juice). We all knew in order to do that we must learn to forgive those who may have hurt us, apologize to those we have hurt and reconcile those relationships.
In my case I have found it difficult to forgive, not that I can’t forgive but I’m unable to communicate with those I’d like to forgive. So it’s been put on my heart to say here that I forgive you for the pain and turmoil you caused in my previous life because it has brought me to present peace and happiness and a stronger relationship with my Father. I hope you have found the same and can one day accept my forgiveness and in return forgive me. But for now I will trust in my Lord that he will work in us all to become right with others, so that we may fully embody the likeness of Christ and reflect his light and love through our actions.
